At Candyis, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data our app collects, how it uses it, and how it protects it.
Candyis only collects the data listed below to function properly. Minimizing personal data collection is a core principle of ours.

Your account and gameplay data described above is not sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes. Advertising works differently and is covered separately in Section 5, since it involves Google's own advertising SDK rather than the account data above.
Your account and gameplay data are stored on Firebase's cloud infrastructure, which may process and store data in the United States or other countries where Firebase operates. Access to your account data is restricted so that only you (authenticated as the account owner) can modify it. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard security rules to protect your information.
Candyis is built on Firebase, a set of backend services operated by Google LLC, for authentication, database storage, and (where applicable) file storage. Firebase processes data on our behalf under Google's own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell or share your personal information with any other third party.
Candyis shows ads (a full-screen ad after a game ends, and an optional short video you can choose to watch for extra in-game shuffles) through Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. These ads are requested as non-personalized only — Candyis does not use your advertising identifier (IDFA/Advertising ID) or any cross-app/cross-site activity to tailor ads to you, and does not track you across other apps or websites. Google's SDK still collects the minimum technical/device information needed to serve and measure any ad (like general device type and approximate ad interaction data), independent of any personal profile. Ads are capped at a "General audiences" content rating, suitable for all ages.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Delete Account inside the app. This immediately and permanently removes your leaderboard entry and Firebase account. You may also request deletion by emailing us.
Candyis is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights directly in the app (edit username, delete account) or by emailing us.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Candyis after a change means you accept the updated policy.
